Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
On this week's show, in addition to celebrating four artists’ birthdays, we’re celebrating the 26th birthday of the show!! Rapidly Rotating Records debuted in late July, 2000 on KISL 88.7 FM Avalon, our home until last year when sad to say, the station went off the air. But, against all odds, we’re still here, I don’t know if for another 26 years, but certainly, for as long as we possibly can. But for tonight, we’ve got birthday salutes for Henry Brown, Dock Walsh, Theodure Bendix and Julie Wintz. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience. THANKS FOR LISTENING! ENJOY THE SHOW!
