Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.
This week's edition of the show, is sort of a hybrid. We'll be celebrating Gene Rodemich's birthday and replaying portions of my interview three years ago with Gene's great-grandson, Ray Rodemich, but the musical examples of Gene's work will be new. We're also going to "jump the fence" and celebrate the birthday of Lou Gold. Once again, a number of records on this edition of the show are making their RRR debut. As always, just click on the link below to listen streaming online and/or download the show. Your comments, requests and topic suggestions are always welcome. What is your favorite record on this week's show??
